My Life is
My Music
D'Andre Gerard Gosey is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist and R&B/Soul vocalist from Houston, TX ready to take the entire world by storm with his forthcoming debut album, 'TY4L (Thank You For Leaving)'.
'TY4L' is an 11-track album filled with an emotional- whirlwind of heartbreak and the journey to finding love again through overcoming adversity. The project was sparked by some of the darkest and lowest days the R&B crooner has ever experienced after a very toxic divorce. "What hurt the most was, I was told my blindness was holding her back and I was a burden; she wanted to leave. That cut through my heart and soul really deep.. My self- esteem was hurt, " Gosey stated.

As the grandson of a local Houston Blues Legend, I. J. Gosey, Gerard was destined to be in music entertainment. Never letting his diagnosis of RP (Retinitus Pigmentosa) a degenerative eye condition affect his ability to accomplish great things, Gosey excelled in academics through grade school and college, become a band member in The Ocean of Soul at Texas Southern University, performed with a popular cover band (The City) as Quick Sticks, became a grand finalists in the 2014 Guitar Center Drum Off, featured on KTSU Radio, appeared on Travel Channel during SXSW 2016, NewsFix CW39, Great Day Houston and much more.
'TY4L' is filled with live instrumentals oozing pure Funk and R&B that will have you caught in a groove. The project is slated to be released in the Fall of October 2019.
There will be an album listening party forthcoming soon! Stay tuned to Gosey's website and social media for updates!
